With the impending launch of the world’s best photo bookmarking site, my.theChive.com, we need an in house freelance developer for day-to-day maintenance and changes/improvements during the launch. myCHIVE allows users to save, share and search for their favorite photos on theCHIVE and the rest of the web and connect with other Chivers. The position definitely has the possibility of becoming full-time. We need someone who has mastered the following:
Frontend:
- CSS
- javascript/JQuery
- HTML
Server side:
- OOP basics
- MVC pattern
- PHP advanced
- MySQL advanced
- Smarty template engine
Server platform:
- linux (CentOS)
- Plesk (control panel)
- apache
- nginx
- mysql
- php
Wordpress VIP experience is a huge bonus!
Pay is $40/hour, 40 hours per week and you will get paid weekly. Must live near Venice, CA and be able to commute to work Monday-Friday for at least two months.
